CoreKit Air Care Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202103047821 (1417296-K)) (“CoreKit”, “we”, “us”) operates the website corekit.help. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site or book our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data we collect

Data you give us

When you submit our booking form, call us, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, and the details you provide about your air conditioning equipment and the work required.

Data collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps. We use these for security monitoring and to keep the site working. Cookie usage is described separately in our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we use your data

• To respond to enquiries and schedule, perform and follow up on service visits.
• To prepare quotes, invoices and service records, and to honour warranty claims.
• To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting record-keeping.
• To improve the website and our service routes, using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have expressly asked to receive them.

3. Who we share it with

Your data is shared only with: (a) our technicians and coordinators, to the extent needed to carry out your booking; (b) service providers we rely on to run the business, such as web hosting and accounting software, bound by confidentiality; and (c) authorities, where the law requires it. We do not transfer your personal data outside Malaysia except where our IT providers store data on secure servers abroad, in which case we ensure protections consistent with the PDPA.

4. How long we keep it

Booking and enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to comply with warranty and statutory retention periods — generally seven years for transaction records, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

5. Security

Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, protected by passwords and role-based access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable practical steps to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, and withdraw consent to processing (which may limit our ability to serve you). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within 21 days.

7. Children

Our services and website are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for 30 days.
