Chemical Overhaul Cleaning
When the air smells musty, the fins are grey and the unit drips on your sofa — a wipe-down won’t cut it. This is the reset button.

What happens during an overhaul
- Indoor unit dismantled — casing, filters, fan barrel and tray removed
- Evaporator coil treated with alkaline coil cleaner and rinsed to bare metal
- Fan barrel soaked and scrubbed — where most of the smell lives
- Drainage tray and pipe flushed until water runs clear
- Anti-bacterial treatment before reassembly
- Test run with before/after supply-air temperature comparison
Standard clean or chemical overhaul?
Chemical wash — from RM130
Coil and tray chemically cleaned without full dismantle. For units serviced regularly but starting to lose cooling or smell faintly damp.
Full overhaul — from RM180
Complete strip-down as described above. For units 2+ years without deep cleaning, persistent odour, dripping, or visible mould on the fins.
